Today I return to small metals to have ago again at photo etching.
I started off not so great trying to read my notes on how I did everything. I manage to get up to cutting my shape.
I choose a "easy shape, a heart which others did. I kept asking the tek- dem what to do on next stage. I have come away very happy. I think this is the biggest achievement for me since day one here. I have sturggel to create anything in metal that made me feel proud but this did.
I feel more conformable up in the 3D in folly rather than H.E where is it sometimes very busy.
The etching didn't come out on my peace but I was more interested in just creating the form which is what I struggle with most times in these work shops.
What I got out of today
I achieved what I wanted to do today.
With this skill i want to try and be a bit more addventurus. What if I took a more complex shape from one of my photos of the cathredal and created it into the a object as such?
